Krytox™ TS4sealant is designed for use on various metal and plastic surfacesand can be used in lieu of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape. Incontrast to PTFE tape, which needs to be removed beforereapplication, Krytox™ TS4 sealant can be reapplied over existingthread sealant.

It containsno volatile organic compound (VOC) content or hydrocarbon and issafe for oxygen use with no auto-ignition temperature.

Krytox™ TS4is effective for a number of reasons. It clings to threads and willnot shred or tear on assembly or disassembly. It cannot plug orrestrict critical piping, valves, or instruments, which is often aproblem with tape solids.
