Low Temperature Pure Silicone Bath Fluids are low-viscosity linear Polydimethylsiloxane fluids that are formulated for Low Temperature Baths and Low Temperature Heat Transfer Applications. Low Temperature Pure Silicone Bath Fluids are clear, colorless, odorless, and inert to virtually all bath instruments and plastics.
Low Temperature Silicone Bath Fluids encompass a viscosity range from 2cSt to 20cSt* (measures @ 25°C). Due to their low flash points and high rates of volatility, viscosities below 5cSt are not recommended for thermal applications above ambient temperatures in open systems. High rates of evaporation will require frequent replenishment.
