Royco 1MS is particularly suitable for use on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F. At higher temperatures, compound conforming to Mil-T-5544 (ROYCO 44) should be used in lieu of ROYCO 1MS.
Since this material is an electrical conductor, it is especially suited for anti-seize applications where the thread compound will not impede the flow an electrical current.
