PT-785 Polyurethane is a high performance, two component polyurethane topcoat designed for exterior use on high performance general aviation, business jet, and commercial aircraft. PT-785 is a two component high solids low voc catalyst cure aliphatic polyurethane which meets and exceeds MIL-PRF-85285D Type 1 CLASS H. When mixed and reduced according to PTI’s instructions, PT-785 topcoat will conform to most of California’s air pollution rules and regulations including SCAQMD rules 1107 and 1124. Aerospace/Aviation: Aircraft (commercial and military), helicopters, radar equipment, cabin interiors (e.g., space shuttle) due to its self-extinguishing properties in the event of fire. Industrial: Material handling equipment, pumps, pipes, valves, fan equipment. Marine: Holding tanks, machinery, ship superstructure. Recreation: Playground equipment, golf carts, decks. PT-785Conductive black is also available. It is formulated as an electrically conductive paint which can be used for coating and sealing non-metallic surfaces by brushing or spraying. The Conductive Coating is intended for use where an electrostatic discharge path is required for electrical continuity on non-metallic substrates.
