Plastilease 512B is a water/alcohol solution of polyvinyl alcohol resins (PVA). It is used to release polyester resins, especially where wax or silicone contamination of the part is to be avoided. The film it produces serves as insurance against part hang-up, particularly for newly fabricated molds. Manufactured by Lilly Ram.
